I first saw these lines from nami86 at PinkCrack (a Sakura LJ community that I co-mod. It's for ALL Sakura ships, which as you all know, makes me a happy camper.)

The first time I saw Nami post, I was blown away. Her style was so interesting. It was different than anything I'd ever seen in the Naruto Fandom before. There was only 1 problem. I don't really like Sasuke/Sakura. So I waited, patiently. I knew eventually she'd draw something that I couldn't resist coloring.

And when I saw these lines, I knew I had to give it a try. I choose it because it's not too shippy, Sakura is kinda vulnerable, but potentially she could have the upper hand. You never know, this could be just a few seconds later.

I finished this all in one day (yay me). And I think it came out alright. And look, I even attempted one of those abstractly backgrounds. I think it works.

And I also tried out colored lines. It's something I've never done before.

Just for the record, though: I don't like this pairing. Just the lines. This was for art, not for shipping (yes, I know the difference). It's a credit to Nami's skills that she could get me to love her work even though she likes a pairing that I don't. Really, all the credit goes to her. Please, check her out. She's amazing.
